Ziotopoulou Awarded ASCE Geo-Institute Professional Development Award

Professor Katerina Ziotopoulou Selected by ASCE Geo-Institute to Receive 2021 Arthur Casagrande Professional Development Award 

This prestigious national award from ASCE is given annually to one recipient (or in rare cases, two recipients) under the age of 35 in recognition of outstanding accomplishments in geotechnical engineering. Professor Ziotopoulou was selected for outstanding contributions to the advancement of constitutive models for soils in earthquake engineering applications, the promotion of validation protocols in nonlinear deformation analyses and her dedicated service to the mentoring of students and women through critical transitions in engineering.
