CEE Majors and Minors at UC Davis
The department has a long-standing commitment to the quality of undergraduate education as part of its mission to integrate research, education and professional service in areas related to civil infrastructure and the environment. Distinguishing characteristics of our program include an undergraduate experience that is enriched by a strong research atmosphere; a curriculum that not only provides a rigorous base of fundamentals and offers significant flexibility in course selection and electives, but also integrates fundamentals, application, and professionalism within individual courses; and a faculty commitment to an efficient curriculum design that enables students to a time-to-degree of four years.
The Environmental Engineering major is not yet accredited by the Engineering Accreditation Commission of ABET. We recommend that students interested in Environmental Engineering pursue the Civil and Environmental Engineering double major.
Our department also offers two minors: Construction and Engineering Management and Sustainability in the Built Environment.
